Digital First: Belgium's new business platform for digital transformation
Digital First is a platform designed to help C-level leaders and their management teams navigate digital transformation. Launched by the team behind the BAM Marketing Congress, OFCORES, Digital First brings together an annual flagship congress, themed summits, a marketplace and a professional community into one year-round platform. The platform’s ambition is to close the gap between digital ambition and business results.
The Annual Congress
The centrepiece of the platform is the Digital First Congress, which will take place on 1 December 2026 at Brussels Gate in Brussels. Doors open at 08:00 and the programme runs until 18:00. The day is structured around four stages, hands-on workshops and roundtable conversations. The Digit Valley is an open networking space built around a round bar at the centre of the congress floor. It is designed for conversations that are as important as the sessions themselves.
Curated by Dado Van Peteghem, one of Belgium’s most recognised voices in digital strategy, the programme covers five themes that will define the next era of digital business: AI in Business, Cyber Resilience, the Future of Work, Data & Sovereignty, and Robotics.
An international line-up
The confirmed speaker line-up brings together more than 25 voices from across the international digital business landscape. Milda Mitkutė, co-founder of Vinted — one of Europe’s most remarkable unicorn success stories — will participate in an exclusive fireside chat about what it takes to build a digital business from scratch. Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist at Salesforce and one of the most influential figures in digital transformation worldwide, argues for the AI-first organisation. Dovilė Grigienė, a member of the Supervisory Council at Revolut Bank, will share the lessons learned from Revolut’s rise in European innovation. Neil Martin, who developed the data frameworks now powering over half of the Formula 1 grid, will present his decision-making model to the boardroom. Saskia Van Uffelen, Belgium’s Digital Ambassador, will address the multigenerational workforce in an AI-driven world.
Alongside the keynotes, the programme includes panels, such as a discussion on the AI operating model, moderated by Dado Van Peteghem, as well as hands-on workshops, including a session by Jens-Joris Decorte of TechWolf, which looks at how AI is changing work, task by task.
