"Kevin The Carrot"
The opening chapter of the new episodic campaign follows Kevin the Carrot as he sets off on a romantic adventure. Aldi has released a warm, charming teaser confirming the eagerly awaited comeback of its beloved Christmas mascot — Kevin the Carrot — now starring in a love-filled storyline. Created in partnership with McCann Manchester, this year’s holiday campaign reinvents the traditional Christmas advert formula with a bold serialized structure and a cinematic feel.
The campaign begins with its first episode, in which Kevin embarks on a movie-inspired journey of love, culminating in a grand proposal to his longtime sweetheart, Katie the Carrot. The teaser opens with Kevin and the couple’s dog — wearing a diamond ring on its collar — waiting outside Katie’s snowy doorstep, in a scene reminiscent of classic festive films. Kevin then presents a placard-style declaration, popping the BIG question in a moment crafted to charm and surprise viewers. And this is only the start: two additional instalments are set to air over the Christmas season, promising more humour, heart, and Aldi holiday magic.
